11 Months

This month has gone by so fast already.  We will have a one year old on our hands in two weeks.  Here is what our little girl is up too.

• Finally has learned to clap and claps at EVERYTHING.   (It was funny she started doing it at our ward talent show.  Everyone around us was clapping and she decided she needed to do that too.
• Took her first solo step this very morning September 19th, 2012.  Lets see if she will do it more.
• Has become more social - we have started doing play dates so that she interacts with other kids
• Will start a conversation with anyone who will give her attention or her toys.
• Loves to read her books out loud.
• Enjoys watching tv (time to get some educational programming for her to learn from).  Shows she likes watching: Yo Gabba Gabba!, Curious George, and Sesame Street.
• Loves when I sign her the alphabet - she starts moving her hands like she wants to do it too.
• Loves to sing along when people are singing.
• Loves sitting on our bean bag chair
• Crawls in and out of her carseat (she thinks it is such a fun game)
• Still wearing size 2 diapers, but they are starting to seem a little small.
• Weighs 16 lbs 9 oz (gained more than a pound in a month, better than what she was doing)
• Drinks whole milk about 16 oz a day.  
• Still Loves food, but has found the joy in dropping her food off the side of her chair to give to the dog.
• Trixie and her are best buds.  She looks for her everytime she walks up from her nap. She can say trixie (not a lot, but will do it) she will also say daw for dog.  
• Loves playing with Lynlee's toy - she trys to give it to her so that she will play with her.  
• Can roll her tongue.
• Gets into all of the cupboards and KNOWS she isn't supposed to get into certain ones and will look at me like "Mom I am going to do this just watch me" and then pulls the stuff out fast and then crawls away it is pretty cute. Need to get stuff to baby proof.
• Has conquered the stairs and LOVES to climb them without us.  She can also go down stairs not very  well, but she can do it. 
• Has six teeth.

She is growing up so fast.  Somedays I wonder where my little baby went.  Can't believe she will be one year old in two weeks :)
