2 Months!!!

Supposed to post this Monday, but life got busy.  So my little girl has reached her two month mark.  It is crazy that she has been with us that long.  Seems like she was born yesterday, but she is getting more fun to interact with.  She is a very happy baby in the morning giving us the biggest smiles ever and sometimes giggles and it is incredibly cute.  She has been the best baby at sleeping through the night, a definite blessing.  Having her sleep 6-8 hours a night is amazing allowing me to get some much needed rest.

More things that she has started doing this past month.
  • She has discovered her hands and it is so much fun to watch her try to figure them out.
  • She loves her swing.  When she is put in it we turn on the mobile and she stares at it with so much interest and then laughs and smiles really big.
  • Also when we talk to her now she gives us so so so much attention staring us down trying to understand what in the world we are doing and saying.
  • She makes little noises daily.  She say a-goo and a-ga.
  • She still has a really hard time trying to be put to sleep for naps or bed which has been a challenge.
  • When we have the tv on she watches it so I need to stop that and maybe invest in some educational programs she can watch at.
Her stats at her two month appointment are 10lbs 13oz and 22 inches long.  She is in the 50% growth for weight and height.  She is also really strong according to the doctor.  She holds up her head without any problem (been doing it for weeks) and LOVES standing on her feet.

Here are some pictures from her past month.

Matt took these when I was drugged up after surgery

I Love this outfit she was so cute

She wasn't in a big smiling mood in this video

We can't wait to see what else she starts doing.  We love our little girl with all of our hearts.

  1. She is such a sweet girl. Its so much fun watching these little people grow and develop. Before you know it, you'll have a toddler running around like I do. Too cute.
P.S. tv in general isnt too good for them. they are so little their brains cant process it all. she might be getting over stimulated for nap time, or is over tired at nap/bed time. try maybe putting her down 10-15 mins earlier and see if that helps, if not, try even earlier. its hard finding that perfect spot of tiredness/not too tired with those itty-bitty babes. I'm sure she'll start going down like a pro before you know it.
